When Regina split herself in an attempt to eliminate her evil half, she unwittingly released the Evil Queen. Now the Evil Queen is back and ready to leave a trail of destruction in her wake. Meanwhile, Regina is quickly learning that destroying her dark side won't be that easy, especially when dealing with the consequences of having unleashed the Queen on Storybrooke. Emma learns a life-altering secret that could have serious consequences for her family and loved ones. While the heroes grapple with what Emma is confronting, Henry welcomes the new arrivals from the Land of Untold Stories by pledging to help them complete their tales. But when Snow White, Prince Charming, Regina, Captain Hook and Zelena become entwined in these untold tales, they find themselves haunted by their own unfinished pasts. Meanwhile, after handing Storybrooke over to Mr. Hyde, Mr. Gold continues his quest to wake Belle from her self-induced sleeping curse, in hopes of reuniting with both her and their unborn child.

Plot Synopsis: As Storybrooke continues to welcome the new arrivals from the Land of Untold Stories, families, friends and even long-lost enemies are reunited once again. When Ashley searches for her step-family, intent on settling their unfinished business, Emma, Hook and Henry scramble to help her before it's too late. As this is going on, Regina attempts to bribe Mr. Hyde for information about how to defeat the Evil Queen, Snow helps Dr. Jekyll find a suitable laboratory for his work, and David makes a deal with Gold and delivers a message to Belle in exchange for new information about his father. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Cinderella attends a ball and meets her prince.
Plot Synopsis: Hyde and the Evil Queen continue on their quest to steal Dr. Jekyll's serum, while Snow looks forward to her first day back as a school teacher and Emma looks forward to Hook moving in with her. Hook, however, finds himself trying to protect Belle from Mr. Gold, who has made sure his wife can't leave the confines of the Jolly Roger. Back in the past, Rumplestiltskin helps Jekyll complete his formula to separate a man's personality into two halves - good and evil - but his help comes with a hefty price.
Plot Synopsis: In flashbacks to Agrabah, the princess, Jasmine, recruits a supposed street rat, Aladdin, to help her recover a secret weapon capable of breaking Jafar's hold on the Sultan and saving the city from ruin; their quest takes them to the Cave of Wonders, where Aladdin's fate is revealed. Over in Storybrooke, the Evil Queen tricks Emma's loved ones and forces the savior to reveal her secret in an effort to divide the family. The Queen also takes to pampering Zelena while, elsewhere in town, Regina and our heroes scramble to learn what became of a certain diamond in the rough.
Plot Synopsis: In the fairytale land that was, Snow White the bandit dodges a bounty hunter known as the Woodcutter while David the shepherd goes on a fateful journey to sell his family's farm. Several decades later and the royal couple are being made to surrender their heart, lest they want the Evil Queen to make good on her threat to destroy Storybrooke and everyone in it. As Emma and the others prepare to defend the town, the Charmings go with Regina in search of a magical sapling created by the first spark of true love, with the latter using Gold's burgeoning romance with the Queen against them both. Meanwhile, with all this going on, Zelena takes it upon herself to offer Belle some friendly advice.
Plot Synopsis: Emma and Regina formulate a plan to trap the Evil Queen who, in the meantime, impersonates her better half in order to give Henry some advice as he nervously prepares to take Violet to the school dance, but this could lead him down a dark path. Meanwhile, Snow and David adjust to life without each other and Zelena agrees to help Belle by enlisting Aladdin to steal a magical object from Mr. Gold that could protect the beauty and her unborn child from him forever.
Plot Synopsis: In the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin collects Jack and Jill's son as bait to lure a powerful being to him while, in the present, he tells the Evil Queen that she must kill Zelena, leading her to a decision that will change her relationship with her wicked sister forever. When Belle discovers her husband's plans for their son, she convinces Emma and Hook to help her steal squid ink that can immobilize him; as a result, the beauty is left to make a sacrifice that will affect the lives of everyone in Storybrooke. Meanwhile, Jasmine finds a genie-less lamp that she hopes to use to save Agrabah, and Aladdin finds a way to be her hero.

Plot Synopsis: With Snow still asleep in Storybrooke, David and Hook race to stop Gideon before he can confront Emma, with the hooded villain making a startling confession to Belle and Gold about his whereabouts while he was missing. Meanwhile, Regina struggles with the realization that everyone, perhaps even Robin, is better off in the alternate world where the Evil Queen was defeated, and, when Emma inspires a familiar face to help them both return home, she discovers the power to change her fate.

Plot Synopsis: Before Hook takes the next step in his relationship with Emma, he wants to make sure David sees him as more than just a pirate. So, when David asks him to help him uncover the truth about his father's death, Hook agrees. Meanwhile, Regina works to acclimate Robin to life in Storybrooke, but soon discovers he has a dark side that makes the task much more complicated than she anticipated.
Plot Synopsis: When Gideon resumes his mission to kill Emma and become the savior, Mr. Gold steps in to ensure that the use of dark magic does not poison his son. Meanwhile, Robin proves willing to ally himself with anyone offering the possibility of escape from Regina and Storybrooke, and Hook gathers the courage to come clean to Emma... but not before she discovers he's been keeping a secret. In the fairytale land that was, the legendary folk hero Beowulf sets his sights on Rumplestiltskin after the latter uses his Dark One powers to defeat the ogres and win the war for humanity.
Plot Synopsis: Believing there isn't room in Storybrooke for both her and Regina, the Evil Queen sets out to eliminate her other half using Robin to bait a trap. Hook, meanwhile, determined to make things work with Emma, turns to his old friend Captain Nemo for advice, but Gideon torpedoes his plan before he's able to set things right. And, in the fairytale land that was, Queen Regina learns a surprising lesson about the true source of her misery.
