Jarrett began performing as a mime at the age of 15. He later studied fine arts and filmmaking. After being cast as the lead in the play Dracula, Jarrett set his sites on acting.
In 1992, Jarrett landed the starring role in the Canadian Cult classic Road To Saddle River. He has since had a number of starring and guest starring roles in both film and television playing opposite such stars as Malcolm McDowell of A Clockwork Orange fame, as deputy Everett in The Barber, as supporting lead in the comedy The Foursome, and most recently appeared in J.J. Abrams critically acclaimed series The Fringe.
Jarrett has appeared in films such as Short Time, Bird on a Wire, Shatterbrain, Leaving Normal, Road to Saddle River, Midnight Heat, Sleeping Dogs, Keys to Kingdoms, On the Corner, Ill Fated, Canes, The Grudge 2, The Last Mimzy, War, Possession, Damage, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Midnight Stallion, and If I Stay.
Jarrett's television credits include Bordertown, Wiseguy, 21 Jump Street, Hollywood Babylon, The Commish, The X-Files, For Those Who Hunt the Wounded Down, Millennium, The Outer Limits, Level 9, Seven Days, Stargate SG-1, Dead Like Me, Killer Instinct, Supernatural, Smallville, Bates Motel, Rogue, Vow of Violence, and Frequency.
