Template:Frankenstein's Realm Character Gerhardt, also known as Frankenstein's Monster, is an upcoming character on ABC's Once Upon a Time. He will make his debut in the twelfth episode of the second season. He will be portrayed by Chad Michael Collins.
History
Before the Curse
After dying from an unrevealed cause, his brother sought to revive him with the "perfect heart". He later succeeded in taking it from Fairytale Land, being given to him by Regina, the Evil Queen. However, Dr. Whale, Victor's Storybrooke counterpart, said that his brother was still in trouble; and he wished for Regina to send him back home to help in exchange for reviving Daniel. ("The Doctor")

- Gerhardt is a male name of Germanic origin, which comes from words meaning "spear", "strong" or "brave".
- His casting call describes him as "handsome, idealistic military man in his late 20s, with a family he loves."[1]
