The Severe Nurse is a character on Once Upon a Time. She debuts in the twelfth episode of the first season. It is currently unknown who her counterpart is.
History
During the Curse
The nurse watches the psychiatric ward in the hospital, and keeps tabs so no one gets past her without permission. Regina gives her a rose upon her visit to see a patient, and the nurse informs her no one has come to visit "Belle" that day. ("Skin Deep")
She is approached by Jefferson, who pretends to be part of the hospital staff, when he goes down to the psychiatric ward. He informs the nurse that all the commotion upstairs is about a boy whose heart is failing. The drink he gives her is drugged, and after taking a sip, she promptly passes out at the front desk. This gives Jefferson the opportunity to take the keys to the rooms, and free Belle. ("A Land Without Magic")
Trivia
- Her hairstyle is a throwback to the one worn by Nurse Ratchet in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The plot of that film also featured a sane character who was imprisoned in a sanitarium. An image of her is available on IMDB.
